Apple printing

You select a printer on a mac by:
  1. opening the apple menu in the top left
  2. clicking on "Chooser"
  3. clicking on "LaserWriter 8"
  4. Selecting the printer from the list of names

You can find details of the printer on the printing overview page.

In actual fact, im not exactly sure how printer drivers work on Mac's. Printing to the "LaserWriter 8" prints generic postscript to the printer.

If you need to access the funky features of a printer then you probably need the driver for that printer. Check the printer details for details of where to find the driver.
